Goods and gifts

Launching as part of theLOCAL, micro-retail spaces in Downtown Jackson, TN.

Formerly "Jackson Pop-Up Shops", we began in the Spring of 2014 popping up throughout Downtown Jackson for curated seasonal shops. With about a dozen weekend shops under our belt, we've decided to dive into a more permanent retail space. Click here to read more on Our Jackson Home.

Created and owned by Lisa Garner, of Garner Blue, it seemed only natural that this shop would be named the Garner Blue Shop as it will serve as a home-base for this line as well as a home for the most well-loved brands that have appeared in past pop-up events. Lisa travels throughout the U.S. to participate in curated markets and is always meeting the makers behind the brands so she's excited to grow the retail experience in the shop throughout the year. She resides in mid-town Jackson and is the Executive Director at theCO and wife to Joe --and a bunch more, but we'll just mention those for now :).

Garner Blue Hand dyed indigo textiles and accessories to wear and to decorate at home. Working out of my home studio in Tennessee, I dye with natural indigo yielding sublime shades. My patterns are based on a modern shibori method as well as a stencil & rice paste resist method -- utilizing everything from river rocks & wooden blocks to cassette tapes & laser-cut forms to create patterns on natural fibers.
