We're excited you're joining us to participate in Downtown Bingo!
What is this all about? In essence we’re all chipping in to get more folks as patrons of our downtown businesses.
How does this work for our customers? We will all circulate bingo cards throughout a 2 week period (TBD on actual dates) and "mark" them once a customer has purchased a certain amount from your respective business. Then we'll encourage them to make bingo by purchasing from the rest of our businesses. Once they have gotten bingo (a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row of 3 marks), they will drop their card at one of the designated drop spots (TBD for now). The day after the ed of the two week period-- we'll pick the winners.
What is the prize? (3) $100 and (1) $50 gift certificate for the participating business of their choice.
How does this work for you as a participating business? Each business decides what equals a “mark" — we’ll all use a sharpie to make our unique mark. Each of us will get 50 bingo cards to handout. Ex: at Garner Blue Shop, we will mark a card once someone has purchased $25 or over.
If one of the gift card winners chooses your business as where they would like their $100 or $50 gift card, you will be paid that dollar amount from the funds collected from all of our businesses at the beginning of the Bingo promo. You will be given contact information for the customer and need to be able to offer them a gift card for the prize amount immediately. You are welcome to put a timeframe on when the gift card needs to be used.
What is your $50 going towards? Bingo card printing (approx $100 for 500 cards) and $350 in gift cards. Please be sure to claim your spot as a Downtown Bingo participant ASAP.
